Ground Worker Job Vacancy

Amesbury, Wiltshire

We're on the hunt for a ground worker, sometimes known as a groundie, to work in our tree care teams. The role will involve hedge-cutting and other ground operations. We'd love to meet an enthusiastic and motivated individual who works great in a team and is comfortable working outdoors throughout the year.

Essential Requirements

• An interest trees and their environment.
• Experience in tree surgery ground work.
• City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting.
• City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm.
• City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Safe Use of Manually Fed Wood-chipper.
• Be highly motivated and able to work to an extremely high standard of both safety and quality.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Full driving licence.

Desired Skills, Qualifications & Qualities

• Qualified first-aider.
• City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Tree Climbing and Rescue.
• A keen eye for detail.
• B+E trailer licence.
